What is Hypnotherapy?
There is a quiet space between the conscious and subconscious mind where patterns are formed, beliefs take root, and lasting change becomes possible.
Hypnotherapy is a way of entering that space with intention. Much of what shapes our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors exists beneath conscious awareness. This is why it can sometimes feel difficult to create change through logic or willpower alone. By working with the subconscious mind, hypnotherapy allows us to gently reach the deeper layers where these patterns live.
How does it work?
During a session, you are guided into a calm, relaxed state of focused awareness. Contrary to common misconceptions, you are not asleep, unconscious, or out of control. You remain aware, present, and able to respond at all times. Most people experience this state as deeply relaxing, similar to being absorbed in a good book, movie, or daydream.
In this state, the mind becomes more open and receptive to positive, supportive suggestions. Together, we work to gently shift the beliefs and patterns that may be holding you back, replacing them with ones that feel more aligned with who you want to be.
Hypnotherapy is not about being “fixed,” but rather about accessing the resources that are already within you. When the conscious and subconscious mind are working in alignment, change can feel more natural, more sustainable, and less like a struggle.
